I’ve always been fascinated by the unusual shapes and chequered patterns of fritillaries. They’re such interesting flowers to draw and turn into a linocut.

For this little print, I chose a combination of turquoise and pink, bringing out the delicate patterns and shapes of the flowers.

I love all the lines and patterns left across the fields after the harvest. So much inspiration for new work!

Into the Autumn Woods 🍂

I shared this linocut a while ago, but never added it to my website. At the time, I wasn’t quite sure how I felt about it, so I put it aside.

I’ve been looking at it again recently, and I think I’ve finally made up my mind. It’s time to let it out of the studio!

A different Poppy Fields 🌺
The original edition of Poppy Fields has now sold out, but I had this one-off colour variation tucked away in my studio. It was printed from the same lino block, with a slightly different palette that gives it a character of its own.
I only printed one in these colours, so it’s signed ‘unique’ rather than numbered as part of the edition.
I’ve just added it to my website.
