We are absolutely devastated that we won’t be able to attend the League of Friends Summer Fayre today.

After weeks of planning, preparing, making stock, and packing the van ready for the event, I’ve unfortunately woken up feeling really unwell with a red-raw throat and what can only be described as the dreaded lurgy. As much as I hate letting people down, it’s best that I stay home and rest rather than risk passing it on to others.

We were so looking forward to seeing everyone and being part of what promises to be a fantastic day.

If you’re able to attend, please do go along and show your support. The Summer Fayre is raising much-needed funds for the League of Friends, the charity that operates the hospital shops and helps fund equipment, services, and projects that benefit patients, visitors, and staff within the hospital. Every purchase, donation, and visit helps support their incredible work.

We hope everyone has a wonderful day and helps make the event a huge success. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to see you all again soon.
