Me personally
i’m always gonna make it happen for my kids

the holidays
the birthdays
the school trips
the random ice cream runs
the “yes let’s go” moments
the traditions they’ll talk about when they’re older

because childhood is short
and i never want them growing up feeling like life was just surviving day to day

i want them to remember living

i want them to remember packed cars before sunrise
hotel pool nights
matching birthday themes
field trips circled on the calendar
last minute family outings
and parents who truly tried

not because everything has to be expensive or perfect

but because memories matter to me

and if i can make magic happen for my kids
even in the smallest ways

i will
every single time.

All i live for & all that matters to me.

everything else can wait!

some grandparents are a child’s safe place.

not because of what they buy
or how often they say “i love you”

but because of how they SHOW UP!

they show up like it’s the most important thing in the world.

they listen really listen.
they understand without trying to control.
they don’t judge
or make a child feel like they have to be anything other than who they are.

their home feels calm.
their presence feels steady.
their love feels easy.

the kind of safe
a child doesn’t have to question.

because kids don’t remember perfection
they remember how you made them feel.

and the ones who feel like peace?
those are the ones they run to
again and again

when god picked grandparents for Lewis he picked very carfully 🙏🙏

I think what people don’t realise is…

Every day looks the same.
Same mess.
Same cleanup.
Same cycle.

I reset a house that will be undone again in hours.

They call it insanity
doing the same thing expecting change…
but for mums, it’s just called Thursday.

Kids thrive in the routine.
Meanwhile, mums are trying not to lose themselves inside it.

Mothers are the reason holidays feel like magic.

We’re the ones staying up late the night before, filling eggs, arranging baskets, making everything look perfect like it just appeared overnight.
We’re the ones thinking about what will make their eyes light up, what will make them believe in a little bit of magic 🪄

We plan it.
We create it.
We bring it to life.

And then… we step back and watch them wake up, full of excitement, following little trails of eggs, believing something magical happened while they slept😴

But the truth is we are the magic.💫

The tired, loving, all in kind of magic that doesn’t get seen but is felt in every single moment.

One day they’ll grow up and realise it was us all along.
And I hope they remember how much love was behind every egg, every basket, every little surprise.

Because Easter magic doesn’t just happen…
