A huge congratulations to Jamaica, winner of the Rum Cake Bake Off Competition at the 5th Luton Baako Festival! 🎂

The competition brought plenty of flavour, creativity and Caribbean pride — and our judges certainly had a tough job!

A big thank you to everyone who entered and shared their incredible cakes with us. You made the competition such a fun part of this year’s festival.

And to our winners — congratulations and enjoy those bragging rights! 👏🏾🇯🇲

The 5th Luton Baako Festival was a huge success, bringing our communities together for an unforgettable celebration of African and Caribbean music, arts, food and culture.

We would like to give a very special thank you to Luton Rising , our Headline Sponsor. Your support helped us bring the vision for this year’s festival to life and create a day that Luton could enjoy together.

💛 THANK YOU, LUTON!

What a day! Our 5th Luton Baako Festival was made special by every single person who came out to celebrate African & Caribbean music, arts, food and culture with us.

A huge thank you to our performers, vendors, volunteers, community organisations, partners and everyone behind the scenes who helped bring the festival to life.

And a special thank you to our sponsors and supporters, including Luton Rising, Luton Council, Mary Seacole Housing Association, Step Forward Luton, Bedfordshire & Luton Community Foundation, UK Centre for Carnival Arts, NatWest and all of the organisations that supported this year’s festival. Your support helped make the day possible.

Most importantly, thank you to YOU — everyone who came, danced, ate, laughed, supported our traders and celebrated together. You showed exactly what Unity As One means. 💚💛
