Channeling that ultimate anime power-up energy. ⚔️🔥

She completely dismantled the world No. 1 on Sunday, and even though her historic Wimbledon run ended yesterday, Naomi Osaka gave it her absolute all.

Now, the grass-court season is over, and she’s heading straight to the US Open. Can't wait to see how well she does on the hard courts!

For this piece, I wanted to capture her fierce "boss walk" energy using a bold Japanese anime aesthetic—heavy manga shadows, a low visor angle, and a sharp neon green background to make the art pop.

Turned a delivery box into a portal📦✨️

My nephew Callum Pettigrew and I cooked up this original track, and it inspired this piece.

Creating art from scripture is where I draw my inspiration. It strengthens my faith and helps me get through daily struggles-a visual reminder of Acts 1:8.

Turn it up and let us know what you think!

Hope in the desolate realm

Here is my submission for the art challenge .

This artwork looks back into a painful season of my childhood past, capturing a time when I felt lost, isolated, and invisible due to verbal abuse.

At the center is my younger self in a desert wasteland, fading and literally blending into the hills behind him. The constant, cruel insults didn't just hurt—they made me feel entirely unloved and unnoticed, like I was disappearing into the background of my own life.

Enclosing him from below are vibrant, neon magenta graffiti flames. While visually beautiful, they are actually an abstracted collage of the real insults thrown at me during my formative years.
Directly above the menacing darkness, an inverted white design rises into a flower and a cross, symbolizing that a loving God was watching over me and keeping me anchored, even when I felt non-existent.

But the story doesn't end in the wreckage. To the left, a second portal breaks through the barren hillside, alive with sunshine, blue skies, and lush flowers. A radiant creature—part dove, part phoenix—flies out toward the boy. It represents the stepping directly into the hell of my past to rescue me, make me whole, and lead me into a beautiful future.

Been a while since I've created any art. But I want to get back to some physical art, away from the digital. This piece is about God, Adam and Eve in harmony in the garden of Eden.

I used this beautiful glittery blue ink for the vase and background, green for the foliage. And everything else is acrylic pens.

I think it turned out quite beautiful.

The Beginning

1 In the beginning created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the was hovering over the waters.

3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.
