Big things coming to Lowestoft!

SkateSuffolk and will be hosting FREE Skateboarding lessons at Normanston Park.🙌🙌 🛹

All dates are shown above and every lesson will run from 1pm until 4pm on a first come first serve basis.

Safety gear and skateboards will be provided by us so just make sure you wear sensible footwear and you are good to go! These events are perfect for anyone of any age looking to get into the sport and improve their skateboarding! 🔥❤

are the driving force helping to teach and encourage Skateboarding in Suffolk. They do a fantastic job of teaching new and inexperienced Skateboarders to learn how to skate and do it safely and now you can be a part of that too.

They are looking for 10 new volunteers to help with their coaching sessions and are recruiting on a volunteer basis only.

Closing date is 11pm on the 7th of August so make sure to email them at [email protected] to apply or even just discuss the ins and outs!

If you want to get involved in the local community and help others to learn and grow with skateboarding then this is a brilliant opportunity and you do not want to miss out!

Lowestoft gets it's very own Skate Shop this Monday! Skate East is a female owned store specialising in Skateboarding and Scooter gear and more.

Expect to see a lot more of soon and lets all show our support to make it a permanent inclusion to our seaside town!

are celebrating 20 years of Stoke Bridge Skatepark with an all day event in collaboration with and .

There will be free skate lessons, a skate jam and a competition with cash and product prizes! All accompanied by live music and more!

have always been at the front of helping the Suffolk skate scene grow and are my number one recommendation when in comes to learning to skate and getting involved in the local skate scene.

Do not miss this opportunity unless you absolutely cannot go its a great time to be had!

Lowestoft Skate Spot Appreciation Post ❤ the most easterly skate spot in the UK. 😏

Probably one of the only "true spots" we have in Lowestoft is Ness Point.

Containing some well loved low ledges and a some really crusty manual pads this thing rarely has visitors, but when it does there is a lot of opportunity for some great tricks to be done.

I myself am hoping to skate here a lot more this year so let me know if you want in on a session or two!

And if you've skated here before, please show and tell me what you've done!

A reminder that this coming Wednesday is jam .

Multiple stores and community pages are backing and supporting this and it would be really dumb to miss it!

WE ARE TAKING YOUR OLD BOARDS!

We are going to be accepting old Skateboards to give back to new skateboarders and skaters in need to help grow our community!

If you have an old board you don't want to use anymore, don't throw it out, give it to us! We will arrange a time to meet up and take them off you.

And please if your are a new skater or someone looking to get into skateboarding message us and we will arrange to hook you up with a pre-loved board to get started on!
