Andy Warhol died on this day in 1987, at the age of 58. A leading figure in the Pop Art movement, his paintings and screen prints of cultural and consumer icons — including Marilyn Monroe, Campbell’s Soup Cans, and Brillo Boxes — would make him one of the most famous artists of his generation. 🥫

This is one of my first oil paintings. It symbolises the fate of a humanity suspended by the decisions we make.
This work is based on the style of chiaroscuro, the study of how I can create realism with the contrast of intense light and the deep void of darkness.
