Long Tower Children's Folk Group Long Tower Children's Folk Group ~ St. Columba's Church, Derry.

The Long Tower Children's Folk Group aims to bring young people together, allowing them to engage in their faith through music. At LTCFG, we help to develop young singers into rounded musicians by equipping them with essential musical skills, and providing them with the opportunity to frequently perform both in and out of the Mass setting. The Long Tower Children's Folk Group was established and is directed by Naoimh Moore and Emmet Doherty.

We are really looking forward to be back singing at the Children's Mass in St Columba's Church, Long Tower.

If you would like to be part of the Long Tower Children's Folk Group, then come along this week and see what it's all about!

Rehearsals take place every Thursday in Long Tower Primary School (lower school in church grounds) from 4:15pm - 5:15pm. We sing every Sunday at the 12pm Children's Mass.

We are just back from a fantastic night in First Derry Presbyterian Church celebrating some of the amazing choirs that exist in our city! The theme was joy, and we definitely left feeling joyful tonight!

I am SO proud of each and every one of my wee singers. As always, you gave it everything! Thank you to all parents and friends of LTCFG, without whom a performance like tonight would not be possible.

A special word of thanks goes to Miss Katie and Miss Clara, our two spectacular soloists!

We are DELIGHTED to have been asked to perform at this year’s Joy! Sacred Concert.

This will be an evening of sacred music from local community and church choirs.

This concert will take place in First Derry Presbyterian Church, on a Sunday 21st October at 7:30pm.

Tickets are £5 and available to purchase at the door.
