Little bit of street fighter on the lunch menu today.

One of my favs in the sf series! This device is loaded with multiple versions, but it’s all about the system 2 arcade version👌

Fast gameplay, bright vibrant colours, great roster of fighters and banging soundtrack 🤘🏻

Mmm interesting look at it for sure 🤔

When Microsoft spent $7.5 billion on ZeniMax and $69 billion on Activision Blizzard in the span of two years, the general assumption was that Xbox was absorbing the industry's biggest franchises. This week's restructuring, however, suggests the opposite is actually happening.

NYU Stern professor and former SuperData Research founder Joost van Dreunen, writing in his SuperJoost Playlist newsletter, describes it as a reverse acquisition in slow motion, one in which the publishers Microsoft paid $76.5 billion for turn out to be the divisions best equipped to run the studios/IPs Microsoft built itself.

As much as I hate seeing people put out of jobs, I can understand what Microsoft is doing.

Putting rare and halo under activision makes perfect sense, as does playground games and turn 10 merging into one studio.
