2026. Today is Friday. Since around the end of May, a wide range of people have been encouraging us to launch a playlist featuring the songs we’ve ever placed at number one in our various playlists at some point this year. The exciting thing is that, in reality, we always calibrate the top 20 in each playlist. It’s a slightly complicated topic, since out of the 32 playlists currently on the 50 Shades of Blues Rock channel, we change them on average 3–8 times a year. We jumped on the idea. And today we’re launching the first edition of 50 Shades Top Number Ones 2026, based on data as of August 1, 2026. The only channel that’s an exception is “Blues Rock 2026.” That’s a whole different story with its own unique approach. Let’s go! Get started, folks. It’s already running on the main 50 Shades of Blues Rock (https://bluesrock.top/) web channel. Top 20 will be coming soon to the Blues Rock Charts (https://t.me/+eXMCp2hN0JI4ODhk) tg channel. And you’ll god damn sure have a lot of tunes to recap this weekend. After all, fall is just around the corner.

Vol.27/2026 Today we decided to take a look back at our sixth anniversary years including four current releases (2026), two from twenty years awhile back (2006), one that takes us thirty years ago to 1996, and three to the early 1990s. Full review and tunes are on our web site of Album Blues Rock (https://bluesrock.top/album). Random Top 10 pick up will appear shortly on Blues Rock Charts telegram channel.

This is the first blues-rock feature of 2014 as part of our “Two For Tuesday” series. It’s a bit on the heavy side, but it’s an exciting listen. Quite a lengthy piece. We’ve got 66 artists, 132 tracks, and 11 hours of your time. The 2014 compilation (https://bluesrock.top/2014) is already up on the site, along with the chart. Twenty selected tracks will be released a little later on the Blues Rock Charts (https://t.me/+eXMCp2hN0JI4ODhk) channel. Check it out, folks!

Aug 2026. The August issue will sound different to everyone. For the older generation, it’s a clear nod to the second half of the ’70s. For the younger crowd, it’s more contemporary. But the main thing is that the beat is tailored for modern ears—it’s just the motifs that are different. Lots of slow jams, a touch of funk, a hint of AI, and plenty of solid, heavy beats. Let’s go! Already available on the Blues Rock 2026 (https://bluesrock.top/2026) web channel. Calibrated tracks coming soon to the Blues Rock Charts (https://t.me/+eXMCp2hN0JI4ODhk) channel.
