Another busy week here at London Bronze Casting.
The wax room is busy sculpting, we have some interesting shapes and patterns in there currently that we are working on. Shell room has work in having its first, second, third coats right down to some awaiting the final coat... Metal is busy welding and grinding away and final touches going on in fabrication. There’s a great buzz in the foundry today.. ☀️

Hermes Lutar Sig Mot Ett Träd

“The work was made by combining the 3D prints (that you’ve shared already in earlier posts) with cast and hand sculpted pieces that I made myself in wax, based on an original Hermes bicycle that I sourced in Sweden. The tree was also sculpted by hand based on different pieces of driftwood and then cast in wax. These wax works were then delivered to London Bronze Casting, cast in bronze and adapted in places to fit the internal armature”
