A fond farewell to a wonderful Royal Ballet Soloist ⭐
Tomas Mock leaves the Company to continue his academic studies in statistics at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He gives his last performance on Saturday evening in Wayne McGregor's The Dante Project.
Tomas trained at The Royal Ballet School, joined the Company in 2011 and became a Soloist in 2019. His many roles in the repertory include Hilarion in Giselle, the Gypsy Girl’s Lover in The Two Pigeons, Prince Gremin in Onegin and Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet.
Director Kevin O’Hare comments, ‘Tomas has had a wonderful career with the Company and we will miss his sincere stage presence and the integrity he brings to his performances. It is fitting that he finishes as Virgil which plays again to the quiet authority he brings to every role. Tomas is also a talented student of mathematics and statistics and we wish him every success in his next steps where he is bound to flourish.’
