Purple Hibiscus was really so heartbreaking for me. I loved watching Kambili grow. The ending left my mouth wide open, but overall, it was a very good book

Americanah for me was so funny 🤣. Ifemelu really does sound like the silent things you say in your head, and I also loved the development of Nigeria and America throughout the book whilst discovering the perspective of what it means to leave home. The ending really annoyed me, but I guess who can deny true love that comes back to find you where you are

STAY WITH ME — I think this is one of the best books I have ever read, HANDS DOWN. The storytelling, the emotions, the characters, the PLOT TWIST, the continuous punches that Adebayo throws in this book made me so excited to read her other books 10/10 🔥

The Joys of Motherhood — I read this because I knew it was a classic, and I like Buchi’s storytelling and the way she is able to blend timelines, the emotions, the characters, everything. The ending is sad and I was so upset after I read it, but this truly is a classic masterpiece ❤️
