Playing board games relaxes me a lot. This couple of weeks must've been especially stressful as I made my team at work to play with my Ecosystem at lunch time and the last two Fridays I managed to visit my gaming club.
During this time I played a variety of games:
1. Ecosystem
Nice easy game with beautiful illustrations of animals and nature. Very good for getting people into gaming.
2. Timeline
Oh! This is the game of the century! Once I get people playing it, they cannot stop and are looking to buy their own copy. Extremely simple rules, loads of fun.
3. Spirits of the Forest
Nice, relaxing game. Unless you are too competitive 🤣
You cannot really feel the magic but I think that I could change my mind once I take the strategic approach, not having fun and spending time with friends.
4. Power Plants
I was worried about sitting in this game. I have heard that the game is very vicious. Well...maybe my co-players went easy on me but I really enjoyed the game. And the deluxe version really takes the experience to a different level. I think that this game will only gain in my eyes with more plays.Good understanding of how the plants work slow for doing great combos.
5. Pergola
Finally we have time with the other Meeple Queen to play together. Easy Saturday, beautiful games. I have to admit that the game gave me more than expected.
6. Artistry
My first Kickstarter. Apparently I will remember it to the end of my life.
The game is, again, beautiful. The art of Alfons Mucha is just amazing.It is such a pleasure to the eye.
This weekend is under the theme of easy games, relaxing time, and enjoying people's company.
Now off to learn a new game, but this will be a topic for a different day :)
