We’re delighted to introduce TDJ Caterina Giannini, joining us for Tango2London this November!

A young Italian TDJ now based in the UK, Caterina started playing tango music in 2025, driven by a desire to dive deeper into the music she loves to dance to. Since then, she has developed a style that is energetic, warm and irresistibly danceable, with carefully crafted sets that keep the ronda moving and invite dancers to stay on the floor for just one more tanda. 🎶

Her musical heart lies in the Golden Age, while thoughtfully selected modern tangos add a fresh touch to her musical journey. For Caterina, DJing is not simply about choosing great music — it is about creating an atmosphere where energy, emotion and musicality come together, and where the music naturally carries the dancers through the evening.

We’re delighted to introduce TDJ Tara Thurau, joining us for Tango2London this November!

For Tara, tango music is a rich landscape of emotion, rhythm and storytelling. Having DJed at local communities, marathons, festivals and encuentros around the world, she has developed a style that combines thoughtfully crafted musical narratives, seamless transitions and a deep sensitivity to the energy of the dance floor.

While her heart belongs to the Golden Era orchestras, Tara also enjoys weaving carefully selected “special” sets into the evening, creating fresh moments that always respect the essence of the milonga. Above all, her greatest joy is seeing dancers connect — not only with the music, but with each other. 🎶

We’re delighted to introduce TDJ Cristi, joining us for Tango2London this November!

Cristi is a highly appreciated Tango DJ, regularly invited to play at tango events both nationally and internationally. But his connection with tango goes far beyond the DJ booth. Having danced tango since 2010, Cristi is also an experienced dancer, teacher and event organiser, bringing a deep understanding of both the music and the people on the dance floor.

As a DJ, Cristi is known for creating vibrant, energetic milongas with carefully crafted rhythmic tandas that keep dancers moving. His musical heart belongs to the four great pillars of Argentine tango — D’Arienzo, Troilo, Di Sarli and Pugliese — particularly their Golden Age recordings. At the same time, he knows exactly when to introduce carefully selected contemporary orchestras, creating a fresh and dynamic musical journey while always respecting the essence of the milonga. 🎶

For Cristi, every milonga tells a story, and every tanda is an invitation to connect, embrace and enjoy the dance.

We’re delighted to introduce TDJ Cem Çınar, joining us for Tango2London this November!

Cem discovered tango in 2014 and began his journey as a Tango DJ in 2016. Since then, he has performed nearly 500 times at milongas, marathons, festivals and international tango events, both in Türkiye and around the world.

For Cem, DJing is about much more than playing great music. He listens closely to the pulse of the dance floor, shaping the musical flow around the energy, rhythm and atmosphere of the room. His sets move effortlessly between timeless Golden Age orchestras and contemporary interpretations, creating a musical journey that can take dancers from nostalgia and emotion to energy and exhilaration. 🎶

This November, Cem Çınar will be joining us in London for Tango2London, bringing his experience, musical sensitivity and passion for tango to the dance floor.

A celebrated tango maestro and 2010 Turkish Tango Champion, Eşref is known for his powerful technique, musicality and deep knowledge of Argentine tango. With decades of experience in the international tango scene, he brings a wealth of expertise and insight to every event.

This November, Eşref joins us in London as a judge for our official preliminary competition, where he will bring his experience and discerning eye to the judging panel.
