❇️Detail❇️ this is my favourite prompt so far from , because I think any card maker will tell you that the delight in a card is all in the details!
Here's a little close up sneak peek at something coming to the shop very soon! I think it perfectly showcases how very small details come together to make a card that is pleasing to look at and pleasing to touch.
I always try to add these details to my makes - and I think these are things that add the wow factor and give real sensory pleasure when receiving a card in person!
❇️ TEXTURE - usually in the form of textured paper, like the linen-effect white card, or embossed backgrounds
❇️ SHINE - the barely-there glimmer on the letters, the clear enamel dots, the metallic paint outlines
❇️ LAYERS - raised and dimensional elements, playing around with translucent papers like vellum, creating visual depth and interest
And I could spend hours looking at these detail photos!
What sorts of card details are your favourites?
