The festival is an annual, city-wide event taking place throughout June, inspiring debate and new thinking about the capital’s architecture and public realm. It is a not-for-profit company run with the support and partnership of the capitals architectural and development sector. From its earliest days, the festival has been a showcase for creative talent, as well as providing a platform for engage

ment in, and observation about, the city. The Festival has over 150 partners, including architecture schools, arts and heritage organisations, architectural practices, designers, cultural institutions, artists and curators. These Partners from across London come together each year under with the enablement of the LFA to create the programme. They are invited to respond to the chosen theme of each festival and develop a programme through a breadth of activity that helps reach a wider range of London’s communities.

The moment you've all been waiting for is here ... the programme is officially live! 👏

Returning to London on 1-30 June, LFA 2022 will be a month-long celebration of London's architecture and city-making. Featuring over 400 events, ranging from new specially commissioned installations, to talks and debates, performances and tours, workshops and family events, next month will see the return of the Festival at full power with the biggest programme of in-person events since 2019.

In addition to the events organised by members of our network, the programme features signature LFA events including the Symposium in collaboration with the Royal Academy of Arts, Studio Lates, 30 Objects in 30 Days, Manifestos with Design Museum and the second edition of Showroom Showcase.
