Snapped some fresh photos of my Nurgle team as the last ones I took were far too dark. I added a Rotspawn and two Pestigors although the new edition means I've got two goats without a team!

Enjoy

Slow progress.

Swipe to see the progress on the NMM skeleton. Not sure it's reading as anything at present due to the white armour, so feedback is more than appreciated!

Keen to get it finished.

Back to the cutting mat, back on the dreadnought, this time working on NMM gold.

Not something I've really tackled in depth before so we can call this a first proper attempt as I've only ever really done steel NMM in the past. Definitely needs some refining, especially the trim around the sarcophagus and the connecting points of the hoses, but it's satisfying progress. The skeleton needs much more work but I wanted to see some tangible results so took a break!

If you've not had a look yet, has been posting some stellar tutorials on NMM over on his insta and has offered some great feedback, as has throughout this project. If you fancy offering some C&C, have at it!

Really enjoying painting up the dreadnought after a week of not doing very much with it. I'm sketching in NMM highlights across the model as well as adding some more detail here and there that'll be refined down the line.

Trying out new things! NMM is something I rarely do and this is probably my biggest undertaking yet. Pleased so far but still very much WIP. I desperately want to move on and start weathering but I need to wait!

Happy Sunday xx

Currently blocking in the non-armoured parts of the dread and it feels like things are coming together!

As you can see I've only gotten half way through the rivets, I gave up at the end of my painting session because I was tired 😅

Definitely feels like a good decision switching to this mini. Plenty to do but this feels more manageable for Salute. Managing to get a little bit done every day and the next task will be getting the first sketches down on the dread.

C&C is very much appreciated!

Switched to my H&S evolution for some of the finer detail work like post shading and adding final highlights where I need some definition. I think the white is fine for now, I could push it a little more but I need to get onto the rest of the dread!

My idea of painting the tank for Salute is a pipe dream, so I'm going to attempt painting this one instead. It's probably boring seeing all the airbrush work but a lot goes into it!

More progress on the Repulsor. Dawnstone has been applied to the hull while wraithbone has been applied to the turret and commander.

Probably my biggest airbrush undertaking to date across one tank, it's definitely tiring and takes a good bit of focus to catch everything. Case and point the little turrets above the doors were initially missed! Working in thin layers has been time consuming but it's helped massively with the smooth blends.

First time sitting down to paint in about a week and a half. Mostly due to a mixture of work, a blood bowl tournament (KTC!), and general procrastination but we're back on the grind.

I spent 30 mins working out the first few passes of Dawnstone on the front right of the Repulsor as this is the further forward part of the mini (from a display perspective). I'm really pleased with how the texturing is coming out through the airbrushing as well.

I'd say there'll be an interim colour before I get to pure white and currently undecided what that will be right now. I definitely want a warmer tone so ivory might have to warm things up. I can always come in and post shade as well for more warmth in the shadows. The GHAD-39 is serving me quite well so far too I must admit!

What do you think? Am I mad for trying to get this done for ??
