Dear Friends,
Reviews are in for Lies Where It Falls, the new Northern Irish theatre play currently playing at the Finborough Theatre in London, and they have been overwhelmingly excellent. Links to some of the full reviews are below, along with some brief extracts.
I’m delighted to also report that the show, written and performed by Ruairi Conaghan, has been nominated for Best Performance in the Offies Awards (Off West End). If you have seen the show, or are planning to, you can leave comments about it on the nomination webpage at www.offies.london.
Advance notice! On Tuesday 10th December Claire Hanna MP, Leader of the SDLP in Belfast, will be doing a Post Show Discussion with Ruairi Conaghan, on the Legacy of Northern Ireland since the 1970s. And on Wednesday 18th December, Ruairi will be talking with Kate Turner, the Director of Healing Through Remembering, an organisation which seeks to contribute to public debate about the Northern Irish conflict, particularly through Truth Recovery, Healing and Victim Support. Both these discussions will be fascinating, particularly as they pick up on themes in the play.
Please share this post, and tell your friends about the show? Do come along to see the play. There are only two weeks of the run left!
