19 MONTHS ALCOHOL FREE! GOD IS GOOD! A lot of people don’t know this but one of the main reasons I did not tour as much from 2020 to 2025 was because I couldn’t put myself in the position of having to continue to drink before every show. My first ever tour was in 2019 with the legendary Tech N9ne. It was 55 shows. I drank before each one. After that tour I told myself that I literally cannot live like that so I promised myself I wouldn’t do that many shows again until I conquered alcohol. At that time I didn’t think it was physically or mentally even possible for me to perform without liquor in my system. It’s disheartening to say but it was purely FEAR. At some point, though I had had to make the choice to (f)ace (e)verything (a)nd (r)un or (f)ace (e)verything (a)nd (r)ise. I chose to rise and tap into the FREE WILL GOD GRANTED ME. Fast-forward to today, July 1st 2026 and i’m now 19 months alcohol free with my own HEADLINE tour one month away. This tour is 48 shows and I only accepted it because I know I no longer need to drink before I go on stage. This journey hasn’t been easy, but it has been a blessing. There’s no better feeling than getting out there and connecting with you all. “The Anger Management” tour starts in 42 days and I can’t wait to see each and every single one of you and experience it with full clarity! Loved this book about Marcus Intalex’s fascinating music journey. It was great delving into his wonderful tunes as they were being mentioned. Ended up speaking to a random stranger on the tube who was Canadian or American? who said he wanted to read this book. It’s worth buying and Marcus’ legacy lives on through the MarcusIntalex_MusicFoundation. He was a genius. His techno sounds as Trevino would have brought him bigger success. Rest in power 🕊️💚

Sad to see another event that’s been running for four years sober event “House of Happiness” announce it won’t be continuing beyond October 2026. One final event and that’s the end.

Running events is tough, and sober events face their own unique challenges. If we want these spaces to survive, we all need to support them where we can by buying tickets, turning up and spreading the word.
