**Payout update**
Apologies for the suspense folks. Statements for the £1.7million Equity payout will be going out by email on Monday evening and money will start hitting accounts from Wednesday 14th December onwards. Hoping something nice will be heading your way in time for Christmas!

**December Payout**
It's December which means it's contractual payments time. We've been busy allocating over £1.7million of Equity negotiated payments onto performer accounts. Statements are going to be whizzing out soon with the dosh hot on their heels - aiming to be paid out next week.
The main payments will be for programmes carried on BBC iPlayer and Channel 4's 4oD services. We've also got Equity negotiated royalties for Game of Thrones and some feature films including Philomena, Die Another Day, Quantum of Solace and the Da Vinci Code.
We also want to let you know that from next year all of these payments will be issued directly by Equity. BECS will continue to administer statutory performers' rights payments.

It's our AGM today. Meeting starts at 1.30pm. Registration and coffee from 1pm. We're at the BFI on the Southbank, London this year - in the NFT3 screening room.

It's going to be an important meeting. One of the items for discussion will be the future relationship between BECS and Equity.

**Yipee - it's payment time again**
It's the end of the month which means it's payment time again. We have over half a million pounds in film royalties going out this week. Payments come from Equity's agreements with Warner Brothers and Paramount. About 800 performers in 30 feature films, including those in Charlie & the Chocolate Factory which we've taken the clip below from, will be sharing the spoils. If you've received a statement you might be feeling like Grandpa Jo a.k.a the inimitable David Kelly ....

**Payment News - over £3million of Equity Royalties going out in time for the last bank holiday weekend of the year**

No holidays for us during August :-(
Hot on the heels of last month's £8million windfall of non-contractual payments, we've been hard at work this month to get another mini windfall of £3.3million onto performer accounts. Happy to say we've made it - email statements have gone out & the money will be hitting accounts from tomorrow onwards.
The bulk of this month's payout - about £3.1million - are film, TV & cast album royalties from Equity agreements with Warner Brothers, Sony, NBC Universal, Disney, Crown Hallmark & other production companies.
Performers who worked on an array of titles from the Da Vinci Code, Captain America, Kick Ass 2, Sherlock Holmes to Rome, Band of Brothers & the Les Mis original West End soundtrack, are reaping the benefits of working on Equity contracts under union agreements with the biggest film studios & producers in the industry.
For good meansure we've also snuck out some performers' rights payments from Norway.

The first glimpse of director Christoper Nolan's forthcoming film 'Dunkirk' looks stunning & terrifying in equal measure.
Will have to be very patient until next year to see the whole film.

Hope a lot of you have received a nice statement in your inbox. You'll be happy to know that the payments are hitting accounts today. Not much longer to wait now if you can't see it yet - it will be there very soon!
We are still sending out some statements by post if we don't have an email address. It would be great if anyone receiving a postal statement can get in touch with their email address for future statements.
