Curiouser news!

I am delighted to be able to announce that I will be performing a week long residency at The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party at The Sanderson hotel in Fitzrovia.

Afternoon tea experiences are becoming increasingly prevalent in the capital. But The Sanderson was a true innovator when they first launched, prompting queues down the street for its charmingly-themed, not-to-be-missed event.

The management are continuing their innovative spirit by inviting me to come and heighten the magic of such a beloved institution.

The week of 10th-14th August will allow guests to witness wonders as they sip on their tea and taste the delicious fancies that have gathered so many 5 star reviews.

It’s going to be such a fun week and you are welcome to join me as I create some themed effects that hopefully Lewis Carol would be proud of.

Literally performing inside a greenhouse towards the end of last week was not something I had been anticipating.

However, fortunately the venue at One Marylebone | Event Venue London was beautiful, the revellers from Ennismore were excited for some party magic and myself and my three piece wool suit were given every convenience to make the event go smoothly.

When one chooses a business name around the theme of a bowler hat, you look pretty daft if you arrive at a celebration not wearing one.

If I had been given the opportunity last week, I might have swapped it out for a Panama.

But I am dedicated to give my audience what they expect.

Even if the temperature exceeded 32 degrees.

I would love to know your thoughts.

When it got very stupidly hot recently, I had several parties and engagements where my tailored suit got a bit too much.

I get the feeling that this heat is going to return, so I am looking at alternatives to a full wool three piece suit.

The gold is great. And perhaps a little more summery. But it needs to go with the black hat.

I put the bowler hat front and centre as the name of my company. So, I feel that I can not disappoint clients by not wearing the titular head gear!

There will be occasions where I can wear other coloured hats. But for much of the time protocol dictates that I need to wear the black.

Does the gold suit go with the black hat?

I’m minded to think that it does not.

But I’m willing to be persuaded.

Residency magic at

I have been the resident magician at The Mint Leaf Lounge in Bank for nearly 18 months now.

I have the best fun meeting the diners at this incredible award winning restaurant once a week.
