💪🏻 Founded in 2018 by Alex (in Wine Car Boot yellow! ⬆️) who began hand delivering bottles to a handful of East London restaurants.

Fast forward to today and with a slightly bigger team, they now import over 40 fantastic growers from France, Italy, Spain and the UK. Modern classics to forgotten varieties, The Modest Merchant are all about the bright fruit, balance and sense of place - you'll find these in abundance across their whole portfolio. And yes they are actually very modest, but they really shouldn't be considering their wine list.

Come and taste, talk, drink and shop with them on Thursday for a chance to get your hands on wines more often seen on the UKs best wine lists, at retail prices 💥

Super happy to have back again, from their cellar door in beautiful Frome in Somerset. Minimal intervention English wines made by Adam, who settled back in the UK after time spent making wine in far more famous regions around the world. Eco glass, sustainable labels, recycled packaging and close to zero chemicals in the winery... Their stall was one of the most popular in the summer so get in there quick on Thursday before they sell out 🥂

Excited to welcome back long time Car Booters who'll be joined by the amazing who are flying in from Italy to share their brilliant box wines with you all - Alessandra and Paolo are originally from Piedmont and parents with small selected organic and natural wine makers in different regions to produce a fantastic range of high quality, low carbon box wines, that last 4-6 weeks once opened - if you can make them stretch that long which we certainly haven't cos they're just too tasty to stop drinking!

Rich from More Wine - is there a better two word combination out there?! - has been selling and promoting alternative format for well over a decade, and we more very grateful for his amazing support over that time too 💙
