🚩 No PLI or PAT testing certificates — Professional liability insurance and PAT testing are basic safety and legal standards. If a provider can’t show these, they may not be reliable or safe for your venue. Always ask to see certificates before booking.

🚩 Price feels too good to be true — Extremely low quotes can mean corners are being cut or the supplier won’t turn up, or are so new they may not be capable of providing the service. Choose a provider with transparent pricing & proven track record.

🚩 No invoice or contract — Every legitimate business should provide an invoice/receipt and a clear contract outlining services and expectations. If these aren’t offered, ask why before you commit. No Invoice or Contract could also mean if there is an issue your wedding insurance may refuse to pay out..
