For my elder brother James Halder, who is fighting with kidney failure & for my cousin Benjamin Majumder whose life was cut short due to kidney failure during receiving dialysis, I will be taking part in this year's London Bridges Walk as part of on Saturday 4 July 2026. When my cousin Benjamin passed away he was only in his 50, he was receiving dialysis but he survived only 2 years with dialysis and left 2 young boys & wife. From dialysis he was also getting recurrent heart attack & sadly passed away on October 2025, during dialysis in Bangladesh .
Every day, more than 20 people start treatment for kidney failure and only research can change this. I wish there could be better treatment for kidney patients without dialysis or easier process to do dialysis and only research can help.
