Each work is generated through a live robotic process tied to real-time Arctic climate data. Every time the monitored temperature exceeds historical norms on the specific day the piece is produced, a robotic system inserts an additional fabricated Arctic poppy into the illuminated field, causing the sculpture to physically accumulate traces of climatic instability over time.

It simultaneously adopts and contemporaries the cavalier perspective of ancient Chinese visual representation of space and time.
