Authentic, engaging, enticing, natural, warm and slightly husky sounding. My Story:
Once upon a time a panicked documentary maker rushed into my theatrical agent’s office in urgent need of a voice actor who could help sell his latest project to Granada TV. So just like Dionne Warwick with Burt Bacharach, I voiced the sales draft!
“Jimmy Hill -Football’s First Revolutionary” was picked up and I was

encouraged by the producers to explore audio work. Since then I have been a semi-finalist in the Norman Beaton Fellowship Award for Radio and voiced heritage trails, adverts. documentaries, training tools, art installations, audiobooks, theatre shows, radio comedy & drama, plus numerous character voices for children’s talking books. With clients including Audible UK, Ulster Bank, Made in Manchester, BBC Radio, Taylor O’Brien, Handstand Productions, Studio Ochenta, Peel X, Dublin City Council, Failte Ireland, Smart Dublin, PAV, Heroic Books and Redwall

In 2021 I was awarded a “Develop Your Creative Practice” fund from Arts Council England so watch this space...

So before the studio powers down for 2024, a few folk have asked me about the age suitability of "The Stone Keep"
Stella, the author, has aimed the book at similar age to "Hunger Games" readers. So if your teen has read or watched any of the "The Hunger Games" series then "The Stone Keep" is completely suitable.
This isn't just young adult fiction though, as a old ass adult I loved reading it. If you like fantasy fiction and great storytelling then this is the book for you

In 2019 I was privileged to perform “The Ballad of Ray and Julie” with its writer Jeff Young. The ballad was inspired by the iconic Liverpool London Road art work by Alan Dunn and Brigette Jurack.
Now Ray and Julie have entered a new chapter as Ray becomes ASCENSION on The Liverpool Plinth winning Alan The Liverpool Sculpture Prize 2024 👏👏👏

Have they split up? Has Julie died? We may never know but it makes being part of this piece even more special:
