Gus Robertson is probably one of the busiest guys in rock’n’roll… guitarist, DJ, impresario - he knows how to make a show go off from every angle. Having played lead guitar for , Gus has gone onto work with a host of celebrated musicians including Mick Jones of , Phil Manzanera of and Paul Cook of The S*x Pistols. As founder curator of “The Great Brain Robbery”, he presents up & coming bands alongside established acts, madcap DJs and wild performance artists. Gus knows how to party and his DJ sets are implicit. He plays out regularly in London and across Europe, bringing his eclectic influences to light in his sets, which guarantee to keep you on your feet.

Their interactive and walkabout performances combine detailed technical dances wrapped in bizarre and engaging concepts, they interact with people, jumping between impressive formations, humorous moments, energetic movements, and human exchanges. The People Pile encourage alternative communication, showing, sharing, and stirring the people and spaces they encounter.

Acantha Lang is a Soul singer born & raised in New Orleans. Since moving to London, she’s been making big waves in the Soul/Funk scene. From its origin as a series of legendary West London takeover parties in Paradise by way of Kensal Green, the Great Brain Robbery‘s immersive style evolved at its residencies at The Cobden Club, Mayfair’s Sketch and Camden’s Underworld. It now runs stages at festivals across the UK, which have included Wilderness, Secret Garden Party*, Standon Calling, Curious Arts Festival and London’s Vaults Festival beneath Waterloo station (*festival now discontinued).
