🌱 OUT FUNDRAISING AND RAISING AWARENESS IN HALFWAY, CAMBUSLANG TODAY!

Today I spent some time visiting the shops and businesses around Halfway in Cambuslang, talking to people about the work we're doing through Food For All Scotland.

A big thank you to all the local shops and businesses who supported us today. ❤️

Every contribution helps us continue growing food, supporting our community food projects and developing our work to build a more resilient local food system.

It's really encouraging to get out into the local community, meet people, hear their ideas and see the support that's out there for what we're trying to do.

⭐️ Get Involved - Food For All Scotland ⭐️

Krishna Community SCIO is an independent charity serving the people of Scotland, sharing with them prasadam, bhakti and opportunities to get involved in a range of kirtan events.

One of the projects we run is Food for All Scotland where we're building a local, regenerative food system that puts compassion, community and climate first.

"If you want to make this a mandir, a house of Krishna, then you must see that within a 10 mile radius, no one goes hungry. That will be your success. Krishna is everyone's father. How can the son go hungry in the presence of the father? Immediately arrange to distribute prasadam."

- Srila Prabhupada (Calcutta, 23/11/67)

⭐️ 🎸 Tribhuvanatha Month - 25th Anniversary - October 2026 🎸 ⭐️

One of our inspirations here at The Hare Krishna Project was the late, great Tribhuvanatha Prabhu - a disciple of A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada - who dedicated his life to organising Hare Krishna festivals across the UK (and beyond!).

We try to follow his example through our own outreach work, whether that's organising festivals, harinams, book distribution initiatives, public kirtans or just the way in which he accepted everyone - irrespective of who they were or where they were from! 🙏

This month marks 25 years since he left us - so we're dedicating the whole of October to Tribhuvanatha Prabhu 💫 🤗

Check out The Hare Krishna Project between today and 31st October films, photos and inspirational quotes from Tribhuvanatha Prabhu. Plus, we'll be giving you the chance to get your hands on some free books 📚 😉

"But if you can stay there in England and continue your festival program, that will be best. It is a very nice program. You should increase it as much as possible."

Welcome to this third episode in a new mini-series of talks from The Hare Krishna Project.
