This months edition of Daydreams is a real treat yall, we have the honor of featuring a guest mix from Baltimore's own, paprika ✨ !!

girlypop princess has been making absolute waves from the DMV to the wider east coast club scene for the past few years now. The cofounder of QTBIPOC collective DIGITAL XSCAPE & 1/2 of GOTCHI POP, both alongside her partner 나나GOTCHI, first came on our radar with an amazing edit of a song from Louisville's own Static Major & Smokey from Playa, & instantly became a staple in our USBs. Earlier this year she put out her first club music project, 'FEMME FATALE CLUB KIT VOL.1', played her first party in the south (New Orleans), released another great project 'BLACK TECHNO VOL. 1', celebrated the 2nd anniversary of DIGITAL XSCAPE, & played countless parties from Richmond to NYC.

Catch her high energy jungle, juke & ghettotech heavy mix kicking off the show tomorrow (8/20) 5-7pm PT/8-10pm ET on Particle FM, with Daydreams residents in the second hour!

This heat shows no signs of letting up and it’s the same for guest mixes here on Daydreams, this month we’ve got a scorcher of a mix from a fantastic DJ (& our pal), !

Based in the Charleston, South Carolina area, Search Urchin has been crafting his super unique style of DJing that focuses on mixing contemporary hip-hop styles like plugg & rage rap with footwork, jungle & dubstep, among many other types of club music, for years at this point. He started his radio show Clairvoyage back in 2024 on Subtle Radio, and has since featured a number of phenomenal DJs (& friends) like XQZ Me, Ant Snow, FLWRSHRK to name a couple.

Tune in tomorrow (7/16) from 5-7pm PT / 8-10pm ET on to catch Search’s banger of a mix in the first hour, with Daydreams residents closing out the last hour with some good ol’ breaks & bass.

It’s heating up in KY and we’re back with another Louisville DJ to showcase on Daydreams this month. For June, we welcome DJ Martusia (), who came prepared with an all vinyl special featuring her signature deep, minimal house & techno style.

Her focus on collecting and spinning records as a DJ came from a vinyl workshop she attended in Chicago. When not on tour with industrial duo, Sue, you can catch her digging in the record stacks around town or hosting The Vogue every Thursday at 11pm on Louisville’s volunteer run radio station, WXOX.

Catch her kicking off the show tomorrow night and check out Sue’s music in the meantime. Daydreams residents in the second hour with a smattering of house, techno, bmore and electro.

Welcome back to Daydreams! For the next stop on our run of Louisville talents this month we suggest going easy on the garlic and guarding your neck 🦇 it’s a pleasure to welcome .c0unt

In the past year browsing his Soundcloud there’s evidence of a tasteful exploration in breakbeats, atmospheric textures, techno, and acidic pop remixes. The very recent remix for local .xeon really stands out as well.

From the DJ sets we’ve heard out you can always guarantee energetic ass shakers throughout with dips into techno, trance, and hyperpop. With this mix we get a view of his introduction to electronic music; an exciting feature of trance classics from the late 90s-mid aughts.

You can catch his mix kicking off the show tomorrow (5/21) 5-7pm PT/8-10pm ET on with Daydreams residents in the second hour.

Our local showcase continues for April as we welcome slone.xm to DayDreams this month! Their artistry stands out as an uncompromising immersion into the world they’ve built around sound. Whether it’s the use of music as catharsis that has built an impressively sized catalog of releases over just a few years or the energetic, but still heady blending of genres as a DJ on their Youtube (sxmradio). Especially nice seeing that they’ve been popping up a lot more DJing out at open decks, DIY spots & the occasional dive. Tune in tomorrow (4/16) for their mix airing 8-10pm ET/5-7p. PT on particle.fm with DayDreams residents finishing out the second hour.

Time to bring it on back home a bit with some Louisville guest features on DayDreams. Kicking it off for March with our super homies in an all vinyl special!

Both Aaron & JP have been crucial to our DJ journeys over the years. From giving us our first opportunities to play out, on local radio, or running a blog/record label; you name it they’ve been reliable friends and teachers along the way. Recently they’ve been throwing down every Saturday night at the venue Whirling Tiger spinning party tracks on wax. They’re also responsible for bringing legends like Eli Escobar, Rex The Dog, and Ian Pooley to Kentucky. Check out their YouTube channel to hear extended and themed mixes from them plus plenty of other Louisville DJs.

Back once again for this month's edition of Daydreams, this time we're pumped to share a mix from

A staple in the Ventura County DIY scene for nearly 2 decades now, the DJ/Producer/Engineer and all around wearer of many hats is impossible to pin down. One weekend he's bringing a sound system out to the beach with his cohorts and mixing Juke, Jersey Club & Trance for hours, the next he's running sound at the harsh noise show. The very definition of a lifer in the world of underground music. Speaking of IDEAL Radio though, they celebrated their 100th episode last year, and are going on about 5 years on . A huge milestone and one of the many reasons they're a big inspo to us. We'd be remiss to not mention his amazing catalog of original tracks as well though. A personal favorite being the SWEET 'N' SOUR EP from 2024, highly recommend checking out his bandcamp page!

💭💭BIG news! We’re moving to !! And our first show at our new home is next week!

Join us November 20th from 8-10pm ET / 5-7pm PT and every 3rd Thursday of the month. House, techno, breakbeats, acid, club music, and so much more from us and our talented friends in Louisville and all over US underground.

We’re looking forward to this new chapter and will be taking this opportunity to reformat slightly giving our guests a proper introduction and highlight their mix on the front end of the program. Even more exciting to be amongst so many peers in the dance music community. Be on the lookout for our first show’s guest announcement soon! 💭💭
