Three practices. Three perspectives. One shared exploration.
What happens when dance, yoga and live music come together?

Listening in Motion invites you to slow down, tune in, and discover how movement and sound can deepen the way we pay attention—to ourselves, to others, and to the space around us.

Guided by Stephen Pelton, Ayanna Prevatt-Goldstein, and Anna Gillespie, this collaborative workshop offers a unique opportunity to explore presence, perception, and connection through embodied practice.

On 17 May, our studios transformed into an art gallery for one special day as we hosted Emilia Bazan’s first solo art exhibition at Acosta Dance Foundation. Through figurative paintings, archival objects, and traditional Polish folk costumes, Emilia shared a beautiful exploration of identity, dance, memory, and cultural tradition. We would like to extend our deepest thanks to Emilia Bazan for choosing Acosta Dance Foundation as the home for this special experience, and to Ymá De Almeida, coordinator of the ECP programme, for organising such a thoughtful and inspiring event. Thank you as well to everyone who attended and celebrated this unforgettable day with us.

Train with a true master of the Cuban ballet tradition.

Born in Oriente, Cuba, Ariel Serrano brings decades of elite experience to the studio, from the National Ballet School of Cuba to principal roles with internationally renowned companies.

A former principal dancer and co-founder of the acclaimed Sarasota Cuban Ballet School, his teaching has shaped dancers now performing with companies such as The Royal Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, and Hamburg Ballet.

At the Acosta Dance Foundation Summer Intensive, Serrano will guide dancers through the power, precision, and expressive depth of the Cuban method, a training system known for producing some of the most dynamic artists in the world.

Three students. One journey. One vision.

This mini-documentary follows the experience of three students from (Monterrey, Mexico), who spent around six months in London as part of the Acosta Advanced Training Hub, developed by Acosta Dance Foundation.

During this time, they immersed themselves in daily training, worked with renowned teachers, and expanded their artistic and technical perspective on dance.

This opportunity was made possible through the partnership between El Patronato La Superior and Acosta Dance Foundation, an initiative committed to opening doors for young dancers and nurturing the next generation of artists who will shape the future of dance in Mexico.

It was a true pleasure to witness their growth throughout this journey. We wish them continued success.
