⭐ JOY FESTIVAL WILL BE BACK 2024 ⭐

JOY piloted in 2018 and has gone on to reach 5,555 audiences, work with 577 artists, held 213 workshops and involved 1179 disabled participants. We have had a fantastic few years putting JOY Festival on annually and connecting with so many people within Hammersmith & Fulham.

To ensure the festival keeps delivering, and grows in a positive way, we are taking a small pause this year to listen to feedback, talk, plan and fund raise to deliver a bigger and better festival in 2024.

We want to thank everyone who has taken part and supported JOY since it's creation, and hope you will understand our reasoning behind this decision, and have a bit of patience as we plan the next steps for the festival.

JOY festival celebrates Hammersmith & Fulham disabled artists. It showcases work by those already established within the community and also reaches out to emerging disabled artists and those that may not have previously been involved in the arts.

We have a fantastic final line-up for you tonight, featuring dance from k&dyoga, spoken word from Richard Downes and Wendy Young, a brand new r***e performance from Cat's Whiskers Community Arts and music from The Uniquez!

Tonight's JOY Programme features a new play devised by Ignite ME Workshop Theatre, comedy from Mark Davidson, and new play NoMad from Response Ability Theatre. 7-9pm in the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre studio, limited tickets still available from box office!
