Absolute Music Services is expanding its pool of professional freelance orchestral musicians for a busy programme of concerts in 2026.

In 2025, we supplied hundreds of musicians for events across the UK and Western Europe, and our upcoming year includes a packed schedule of high-profile orchestral projects and productions.

It's a super-busy weekend for us, as we provide professional music services for events happening around the UK...

Firstly, we have two orchestras performing concerts with choirs at opposite ends of the M4, with a performance of the rarely performed Mozart arrangement of Handel's Messiah at St Davids Cathedral in Pembrokeshire, and music by Mozart and Haydn in Chiswick.

Meanwhile, our percussion hire department is providing instruments for Christ Church Mayfair, the London Lawyers' Orchestra, Titchfield Festival Theatre, London Youth Opera, London Video Game Orchestra, and Holborn Community Orchestra.

Elsewhere, our orchestral hire library is providing music for concerts happening all over the world, including the Texas Medical Centre Orchestra, and the Sydney Philharmonia Choirs.

Wednesday - percussion hire and instrument transport for a visiting ensemble from the USA

Friday - orchestral contracting for an outdoor Dance Anthems concert at Attingham Park

Saturday - percussion hire and additional musicians for an orchestral concert at Attingham Park

Sunday - orchestral contracting for A Night with Janis Joplin at West End Live

2 weeks today we'll be providing orchestral management, percussion hire and librarian services for this concert in London.

2 weeks today we'll be performing music by Edward-Rhys Harry, Arwel Hughes, Sir Karl Jenkins, and Paul Mealor, with massed choirs at Regent Hall in central London, as part of the Festival of Welsh Music in London.

Today we launched a new website for our flagship concert ensemble, the British Sinfonietta, ahead of an exciting start to the year!

New year / new website and a refresh of our branding!

Today we've launched our new website, ahead of our first concert of 2024, which takes place tomorrow evening at Llandaff Cathedral in Cardiff.

We have a really exciting start to the year, including a performance at the Festival of Welsh Music in London next month, our first return to the newly reopened Bristol Beacon in March, and a UK tour with legendary electronic music group Kosheen in April.
