Plamen Vasilev (.v) is a London-based music producer, mixer, mastering and immersive audio engineer, with a diverse range of credits across the music industry.
His work includes collaborations with artists such as Sam Smith, Loreen, Calvin Harris, Beverley Knight and Hikaru Utada, as well as a growing roster of emerging artists including Mae Muller, Mulaa Jones and Ellie Banke, to name a few. Recent projects include work with Melanie C, Anastacia, Ed Staal and Reya.
Alongside his stereo work, Plamen also works in immersive audio, with Dolby Atmos projects for artists including RULES, Caity Baser, Aria Ohlsson and Warriyo.
His career began with early experience working alongside Grammy-winning mixing engineer Steve Fitzmaurice and Grammy-nominated engineer Darren Heelis, before establishing himself as a freelance producer and engineer.
Plamen also brings extensive broadcast experience to his work, having worked as a mixing engineer and lead programmer on FOX TV’s prime-time music shows Name That Tune and Don’t Forget The Lyrics. His television work has involved mixing hundreds of performances and managing large volumes of music in demanding broadcast environments.
Working across records, immersive audio, television and live projects, Plamen has built a career around versatility, technical expertise and a strong understanding of what it takes to bring music from an idea to a finished production.
