Took a little trip to in South Surrey, BC. When I say the food is divine... that cannot be overstated. Everything was cooked to absolute perfection. I have an aversion to anything to do with bananas, however the fried plantain was exquisite. The beef patty I had was everything I ask for in a Jamaican Patty. The biggest surprise for me was the rum cake (this may surprise people who know me well). I would definitely get this rum cake (otherwise known as a black cake) again. The fruit flavours in the cake were perfectly balanced and added a richness and nice depth. And of course, the star of the show, the ackee and saltfish. Just... chef's kiss. If you're looking for some great food, Back 2 Jamaica Eats is it!

(BTW. The portions are bigger. I had eaten some of it before I took the picture 😂)
