The rise in support for Reform UK in the recent vote is something a lot of us are feeling really uneasy about.

For many people in q***r and trans communities, immigrants and other marginalised groups, this stuff isn’t abstract political debate, it's had a real impact on how safe people feel in everyday life.

But we are stronger together. Dancefloors, grassroots events and creative spaces matter more than ever now because they bring people together across backgrounds and experiences. They remind us how much more we have in common than politicians would often have us believe. She They Press Play will continue championing women and minority gender DJs, creating inclusive spaces, and helping people find community through music.

Keep supporting each other. Keep showing up for each other. And most importantly, keep dancing.
