Today I married my cousin. Not like that! This isn’t a Thomas Hardy novel! I had the utter privilege and pleasure of doing as much of the ceremony as I legally could as an ordinand, and then even got up with the incredibly excellent Muncle to do three blur songs for them. A truly beautiful day in glorious sunshine in the wilds of Wiltshire! Congratulations and every blessing to Al and Hannah as they begin their marriage.

I will be in BOSH one last time with my brothers (one of them literally; same mum same dad) - Grant and Matt are flying in from Canada and the US. It’s going to be an emotional reunion. We’d love to share it with you at the Nth Fest special alongside the bands we shared countless gigs with back in the day. Sonic Tuesday - Tracking guitars and drums together. The next album isn’t even out yet, but it is finished. There are several strong ideas from two years of jamming with Johnnie that are forming the basis of where we go next after that. Very much influenced by the same familiar pillars of the HBT sound; John Martyn, Pink Floyd and Talk Talk, but also Polar Bear and Jeff Parker.

Was blown away by ’s Motion Picture House exhibition in Brooklyn today. The most immersive and inspiring presentation of music I’ve ever seen that wasn’t played live. ’s 3D mix of music from Kid A and Amnesiac was the highest quality recorded music I’ve ever heard. And what was that version of Pulk/Pull with vocals? Was that the original version of True Love Waits? It was stunning!
