Thank you so much to the Victoria and Albert Museum for inviting Deaf Rave to be a part of ECHOES, the Performance Festival 2026.

“This year’s Performance Festival invites you to experience the storytelling, placemaking and memory-forming power of music and sound.”

We chose to explore this theme with an inclusive DJ taster session led by me, Troi Lee, and - Jefferson Stone. During our DJ workshop rhythm and bass were explored through movement, vibration and touch. Participants could try their hand at DJing or simply experience the Woojer - Born to feel™ haptic vests which transform sound into deep, physical vibrations felt throughout the body.

We loved seeing so many people engage with Deaf Rave and learn what we’re about. Watch this space and see everything we’re up to this summer!
