THE SERIES OF SEVEN: VOCABULARY OF TOUCH [Pins]
The Pins explore the verbal and emotional layers of human connection. They form a tactile vocabulary, revealing words through touch. Each piece is shaped from a fingertip, its black surface concealing a word until warmth reveals it. Acting as sensory catalyst, the Pins require an offering of biological energy in exchange for meaning. Together, they trace the narrative arc of human intimacy, mapping a journey from the first boundary to the final dissipation.

The work is part of the STRUCTURAL INTIMACY: SOMATIC EXCHANGE project, which was nominated for the Graham Hughes Award and the Chris Massey Award 2026 at Royal College of Art

SHARE YOUR WARMTH: THE SOMATIC EXCHANGE [Brooch]

The Brooch is an invitation to touch and a gesture of radical kindness. The piece acts as a reactive membrane, its black surface holds latent potential, shifting into a golden state in response to human warmth.

My recent work investigates touch as an emotional and material force - the moment when body and substance meet, and touch becomes energy. It explores the subtle, invisible exchanges between bodies, objects, and matter.

Nothing exists in isolation; everything takes form through interaction.

Hauntologies of Matter ✨
Sitting just behind the lived experience of material reality is a ghost world of augmented reality artifacts that are geolocated with coordinates around the world. They exist in spaces just out of sight, accessible only through our symbiotic relationship with technology. A Hauntology of Matter explores how spaces can become the carriers of virtual traces that relate to an alternate reality where digital matter extends our sensory cartography of things - always present yet simultaneously absent. Hauntologies of Matter arranges Augmented Reality (AR) scans of real-world artworks, created by Jewellery and Metal students at the Royal College of Art in London. These artworks adorn the center of the Rotunda of the Pinakothek der Moderne. Accessed through physical wearable interfaces (otherwise and henceforth known as artworks of plurality), infinite curatorial possibilities are created through blending virtual and real world spatial configurations, allowing the audience to walk through, in and around the objects, viewing them from multiple angles.

I am deeply honored to be featured in the very first edition of “Romancing the Stone” jewellery magazine. ✨

You can really feel the dedication and heart in this project; it was entirely curated, written and designed by the wonderful . Every layout and every word was intentional, born from her belief that jewellery is so much more than just a product; it is design, process, and thought.

It is a privilege to be included in this debut issue alongside 8 other award-winning designers. Thank you .the.stone.by_shabnam for seeing the ‘thought’ behind my work and for creating such a beautiful space for our work.

I am truly honoured to be featured in the 1st Edition of ROMANCING THE STONE magazine. 🥳 💛
This beautiful publication has been thoughtfully curated Adrisya bringing together nine singular design journeys from award-winning jewellery designers.

As She so beautifully put it:

“This first edition brings together nine unique design journeys. Each piece tells a story of decisions made long before recognition arrived: moments of restraint, risk, revision, and belief.
This edition is not about trends or spectacle. It celebrates craft, discipline, and the quiet intelligence behind meaningful jewelry. Through these pages, we invite you to slow down, look deeper, and discover the thought, care, and intention that shapes each creation.”
