The bursary I got from a-n this year was to strengthen my practice, firstly by enhancing my weaving skills, but the other goal was finding new ways to experiment with combining weaving and painting. Over the next while I'll share more of my works in progress as I play with textures, layers and surfaces and incorporate more of my own weavings (and some found textiles) in my painted works.

I'm hoping to write more about it on my substack too. If you're interested in old crafts, new technology, and some thoughts on bodily fluids...

We can’t wait to welcome you for another day of creative workshops in our sunny garden. Workshops are for grown-ups either with or without their little ones.

Next workshop is available to book on Classbento now.

Join us at the Catford House for this one-off weaving class. Give old garments a new lease of life and help bust that stash of yarns by weaving them into something unique and beautiful.

This class is part of Catford House's sustainable textile festival with upcycling, mending, and fabric swapping all on the menu for the day.
