Welcoming the 5th month of the year with 5 silly portraits of me, mostly alone in nature 🏕️
April was a tough month but also very rewarding: also feeling very empowered for having bounced back swiftly after each hit ✨

Here's a bunch of dates I'll be playing this month:

- Saturday 16th, 6PM-3AM, my own Mirror Moves #3 at , alongside 8 other incredible promoters and djs from the London underground scene (and one guest from Amsterdam) 👾

- Sunday 17th, 2:30-10:30PM, Pet NAT Posse at , alongside of , all hosted by & .muchsugar 🍷

- Friday 29th, 7-10PM , single deck Vinyl Listening Session at .uk, now on it's 4th installment 🍣

NOYB & Friends Open Decks returns to Kings Arms E2, Sunday 26th of April. The idea to offer a new platform for DJs and Vinyl Enthusiasts to connect and to play those records that don't get played too much in club settings. The event is on a Sunday afternoon so we ask potential applicants to be considerate of that.

Go ahead and a free ticket (it doesn't guarantee a slot but it helps the event with visibility).

Genre-wise we welcome Dub, Reggae, Ska, Classic Rock, Prog, Psychedelic, Indie, New Wave, Post-Punk, Jazz, Soul, Funk, Latin Sounds, Rare Groove, City Pop, Hip-Hop. Be respectful of the space, punters and other DJs: don't be a d*ck.

T&C's:
- this is a free entry event;
- Vinyl-only;
- Sign up sheet, first come first serve;
- 10 x 30 minutes slots;
- Two rounds, first sign up from 2PM and second from 5PM (FIRST ROUND 3:00-5:30PM and SECOND ROUND 5:30-8:00PM);

After two sold out events last year, Mirror Moves returns to Hoxton Cabin on Saturday 16th of May for its third edition 🪞

Mirror Moves is a community-focused event where a wildly diverse bunch of selectors, handpicked by NOYB, will get together to celebrate the London underground grassroot music scene. Once again, 2 parties in 1: starting at 18:00 on the Main Bar (this part of the event is FREE ENTRY) and then moving on in the Basement from 21:30 until the early hours 🧑🏼‍🩰

This time, each DJ on the line up is also an active player in the organisation and promotion of parties who usually surrender the spotlight in favour of the artist the invite. This will be an occasion for each one of them to shine: expect Leftfield Disco, Soulful & Deep House, Garage and Groove-led vibes at the *Main Bar* while *The Basement* will be fertile ground Techno, IDM, Electro, Dubstep and Footwork 👾

A little story about NOYB.

Speaking with DJ friends and promoters they made me realise that I'm often selling myself short and putting other's artistry before mine so I decided to try and, every now and then, talk a bit more about me.

Here's a piece of my origin story, the bit that has me forever indebted to the LGBTQ+ community and made a forever-ally.

.uk's Vinyl Listening Session is back on Friday 17th of April (7-10PM) 🎏

Now on the third instalment, will carefully select rare vinyl for to play on a Boutique Customised Harberth HL-K6 soundsystem. And, as usual, the best Home-Made Food, Izakaya Cocktails & Kakigori, will all be served by the attentive Guru Guru staff. 🍣

- Friday 24th, evening, at on their vintage soundsystem (restored by ) as part of the .community residency 🍷

This is a local corner pub and the event is on a Sunday afternoon so we ask potential applicants to be considerate of that.

We believe there's plenty of leg-room here so please leave the more clubby genres at home (along with the ego's) for this one (ideally nothing too clubby - specifically no club House, Techno, Dubstep, Jungle, DnB & so on).
