Today, we had some time to enjoy ourselves in the Catholic tradition as Fr. Moses joined us in singing a selection of choral pieces around a table with the choristers. As usual, I combined the third part (tenor) and the fourth part (bass) in my performance. It was a joyful and memorable time of fellowship, music, and shared faith.

The kind of news I get everyday from Nigeria makes me feel ashamed to identify myself. It’s really heartbreaking. And you still see young reasonable supposedly schooled people(Doctors, Lawyers, Engineers, Lecturers, Business men and women etc) supporting these criminals. It is so shameful that we have gotten to this level of decay. And a political heavy weight friend of mine told me last week to reposition myself with government as to grab my own share of the falling coins, and stop complaining. Very shameless set of people. I weep seriously seeing all these online. Chai🙈!

After you criticize the Governor or any other politician, it is right you provide what you feel would be a solution(way forward). Someone asked me to cut this part of my yesterday clip as it was too long for him to get here lol. Here it is o! You can add your ideas too for him, that is if he will listen. Meanwhile, you can go back to watch the complete clip if you dont understand where this is coming from. Solution 1. Adopt an educational improvement framework.
2. Employ a performing secondary school principal to be your education commissioner. 3. Bulldoze every dilapidated structure in any public school within the State(we have only 222 public sec schools and this should not be difficult to manage). 4. Privatize Ebonyi Airport to resurrect it.

Ebonyi state governor, HE Francis Nwifuru appears to have neglected basic education while pursuing projects that generate publicity, using public funds to invest in his abroad scholarship business, while primary and secondary school classrooms across the state continue to deteriorate.
It is deeply troubling that many schools lack the attention and investment they urgently need, leaving students to learn in poor conditions. A government that is truly committed to development must prioritize the foundation of education.
Sadly, the current state of our schools raises serious concerns about the administration's commitment to basic education.

It would be unfair to ask you to guess what I said in this clip; of course, you are not a cold reader. Anyway, I just said a prayer. Trust me, I sabi pray in Afikpo language, General Igbo language and English; however I chose Afikpo here. The guy behind the camera is an Uburu guy(my manchi) and a GSSA old boy so he understood the language and I said “God of all gods and our originator, protect my friends and most especially my enemies. I need all to be alive, but take away anyone who wishes me the opposite.” Amen. Though I started with a raw Afikpo adage that kept him laughing until he left my house. Summarily, happiness is in the algorithm. Pick it and excel this week! Amen🙏

I want to remind you that the presidential and National Assembly elections will be held on 16 January 2027. This is a period when many people will still be in their villages. Have you now seen the plan?
However, there is a simple solution to whatever concern you may have about this date. Go ahead and change your voting location to your village if you think you will be there by December. This will also give you the opportunity to monitor your vote in your village, rather than engaging in the usual vote-and-run syndrome in Lagos and other parts of Nigeria.
But if you are certain that you will not be travelling home, then disregard this message.

Who is Prof. Nnenna Oti?
Is she not just the VC of FUTO?
No, she is not just that!
Prof Nnenna Oti is the courageous Afikpo woman who stood firm and ensured that the votes of Abians counted during the 2023 elections. Her popular slogan, “Oo Mmadu g’eme ya,” meaning “It is a human being that will do it,” became a symbol of hope; a reminder that people still have the power to correct injustice and do what is right.

Many believe that without her integrity and courage, Alex Otti’s victory could have been stolen; and Abia would have remained dilapidated in all ramifications. It is also important to note that Prof. Nnenna Oti from Afikpo is not related to Alex Otti from Abia; the similarity in the sound of their names is purely coincidental.

In recognition of her outstanding integrity and service, Governor Alex Otti recently immortalized her by naming a modern state-of-the-art bus terminal after her. That gesture speaks volumes about the impact of her bravery and dedication to democracy.

I celebrate you, Ma, not because I am from Afikpo, but because of your integrity, courage, and fearless display of leadership in a difficult moment. In a truly fair society, people like you would be leading national electoral institutions like INEC, because character and gallantry deserve to be honored.

Keep being a shining example to this generation. Nigeria and the world are watching, and we believe that your best is yet to come.

In Maria’s voice “Brother Idu.” Lol! This woman is so funny eeh! Others are saying Idu, you are saying brother Idu; very respectful woman! If selflessness was a name, na Maria o! Anyways, you have known that I am supporting Maria Ude Nwachi for Sen and Idu Igariwey for Rep. Sorry, I dont do party things, but explore posibilities. With Idu, we won’t have the sluggishness of boys serving godfathers’ interests first, now is time he will work; and with Maria, Senate house will turn focus to Afikpo. Her appearance today has even changed the political ambience in the entire state. In fact, presidency will know Afikpo and Afikpo will feel presidency; be him an Obi or a Tinubu. Meanwhile, Idu should have moved to a cleaner house to win clean, instead of holding a broom in a dirty environment, but may be he knows himself better in the darkness. No blame games at all! They will both win if on ballot by Gods grace! You can support whoever you want; na your support after all 🧑‍🦯🧑‍🦯🧑‍🦯! I wish these my Afikpo sister and brother the very best of luck!
