TANTALIS DISCOVERY:

Cherelle Jardine is a fearless, genre defying singer - songwriter who transforms life's experiences into honest songs of love, hope, healing and human connection, with a touch of rock 'n' roll swagger.

Cherelle paid for her first album with elbow grease at a well known Vancouver Studio, trading time with a mop and a bucket for precious recording time. Decades later, one of those recordings "Let's Spend the Night Together" was rescued from a 2 inch tape - baked, restored and reimagined for my new album "Something Old, Something New" that dropped August 22 2026.

For Cherelle, in her own words.

“Music has always been about connection, hope and finding ways to put a little more love into the world.”

“From the years I spent making music with my daughter in The Jardines, to the peace-and-love message of Peacenik Collective and the deeply human songs of Stone Poets, every project has given me a different way to bring people together and to shine a positive light in the world.”

“Every project has been a different chapter, but that thread has never changed.”

“That spirit also lives in Hand over Heart, the duo I share with my husband Marc Gladstone, performing in seniors' residences, bringing music to people who may need a little more joy, comfort and connection.”

“My newest solo album’ - Something Old, Something New’ - has just been released and feels like a homecoming, bringing together new songs, rediscovered recordings and pieces of my musical past. I’ll be celebrating it all on October 30 with a special album release show, that will include my new video for the next single ‘Love's Gotta Get Louder’ and a mini documentary, surrounded by many of the musicians and friends who have been part of this journey.”

“Show details can be found at https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/cherelle-jardine-something-old-something-new-album-release-celebration-tickets-1997520708210 “

“One last note, Stone Poets won ISSA International Band of the Year and International Video of the Year in 2025, and I won International Songwriter (Bronze) and International Video of the Year (Silver) in 2026. 2 very proud moments in my career to date.”

Popularity tells you what gets heard. It doesn’t always tell you what’s actually good.

Streams matter. Followers matter. Visibility matters. But none of those things automatically make a piece of music more creative, more moving or more deserving of recognition.

Sometimes the best music is simply the music that hasn’t found its audience yet.

That’s worth remembering.

Do you agree?
