Time to unload the kiln again…
I was really excited for this kiln because it had my very first attempts at moon jars! I absolutely love how these glazes have turned out even though some weren’t quite what I was expecting 🫣
The pink and brown is quickly becoming a favourite combo of mine, but the brown and speckled white is nothing like I was expecting!

Time for some more mini vases! These are so addictive to make, I started with 1kg of clay and ended up with a lot more minis than I filmed, I’ll post about all the finished minis soon!

A little bit of real time tap centering!
Something I really hated when I was first learning how to throw, was having to centre pieces to trim them. It would take 20 tiny adjustments only for me to get bored and think that’ll do. After a few months of wonky foot rings, I decided to teach myself how to tap centre, it took some time but after a lot a lot A LOT of practice it finally clicked, and now trimming my pieces isn’t the mega chore it once was!
