I’m genuinely thrilled to share this endorsement from Dave Osmundsen, one of the most prominent q***r Autistic playwrights working in the US.

Dave’s own work insists that Autistic people can be complex, funny, desiring and fully in command of their own narratives, rather than reduced to inspirational symbols. So it feels wonderful that he has recognised in How I WrotE a book at 6 AND PROOFREAD IT AT 8 exactly what I most want the piece to protect: its boldness, its refusal to over-explain itself, and its attempt to make the weight of masking physically felt.

This is the kind of theatre we are trying to make: formally ambitious, uncompromising and built from inside autistic experience.

Please help us bring it into the room:

UPDATE: More time, a new target and our Arts Council application
AKTUALIZACJA: Więcej czasu, nowy cel i wniosek do Arts Council England

Thank you so much for supporting the project so far. Three quick updates:

> The campaign deadline has been extended to 21 September, giving us more time to continue the outreach already under way.
> We have submitted an application to Arts Council England for £30,000, but the process is extremely competitive and funding is not guaranteed.
> We have reduced the Crowdfunder target to £10,000, so it better reflects the amount we hope to raise directly from our community. This remains a Keep What You Raise campaign, so every donation genuinely helps.

Please keep sharing the campaign link with anyone who might connect with the project. It really does make a difference.

> Obniżyliśmy cel zbiórki do 10 000 funtów, żeby lepiej pokazywał, ile chcemy zebrać dzięki wsparciu naszej społeczności.
