So let’s put the price to one side, for the moment, because cost is a relative thing and what one person refuses to pay for fancy lights and mechanical switches, another person is happy to. There’s a lot to love here: Razer’s green switches feel excellent for typing and gaming, the padded wrist rest is ultra comfortable, the macro keys are excellent and the lighting is gorgeous.

The outer rim is covered in a nice, padded material that feels good to caress and cuddle with, not that I did that. The inside of the wheel, however, is the same black plastic that everything else is constructed of. It makes the wheel look and feels more like a toy than a premium product that costs £300, especially when compared to the leather-wrapped wheel and metal construction of my Logitech G290.

Much of the CMAs case appears to build on speculation about the future of streaming games. In their statement, they point out that cloud gaming has tripled within the last few years in the UK, and also make the claim that Microsoft already holds a dominant position in cloud-based gaming. Furthermore, they also cite a belief that acquiring Activision-Blizzard would lead to Microsoft increasing the price of Game Pass, although I think that will occur regardless because the service is already incredibly cheap for what is offered and seems unsustainable in the long term without a higher subscription price.
