✨️My home✨️ has always been part of my creative language — with its unique mysterious geometry, strange lines and interesting architectural solutions. And how I adore the big windows that mirror the lush green world outside.

In spring, 🌱everything feels renewed: the garden wakes up, the light changes, and there’s a sense of fresh energy in the air.

That transformation always finds its way into my work,🎨 reminding me that creativity, like nature, is always moving toward something new.

"Regal" is a part of Scars of Silver & Gold series, inspired by the lyrics of Lorde’s song:

I’m a princess cut from marble

Smoother than a storm

And the scars that mark my body

They’re silver and gold...

Each painting in this collection depicts a journey of a woman whose life’s choices and hardships shape her character as well as her path, inviting viewers to see their own “scars” as symbols of courage and strength.

✨️A million miles away cillection✨️

"A million miles away" paintings have one thing in common - I let them 'paint themselves'.

This is one of my favourite art-creating processes.

I put on some music and start to paint with a blank mind, "a million miles away", having no particular idea of what I wish to paint. Often, I like to play with collaging different colours, textures, some favourite quotes or bits of poems, I try to keep it spontaneous and have fun with the freedom that stage offers. At some point, it becomes an ugly mess and I try not to let it scare me, telling myself that I will make sense of it all - eventually. And I do!

The next stage is dressing the collage in colours, calming it down with neutrals, putting on layers of texture media and paint, and suddenly the painting comes alive. I love the moment when I look at it and go "oh, yeah, THAT's what it wanted to be!"
