🌙 Moon Landing by Margo Selby and composer Helen Caddick premieres this summer at Saatchi Gallery as part of The Sun and The Moon: Art Inspired by the Celestial.
The exhibition traces how the Sun and Moon have inspired imagination across cultures, unfolding as a 24-hour journey from dawn to night across nine gallery spaces.

At its centre is Moon Landing, a 16-metre hand-woven textile paired with an original string composition, inspired by the overlooked women who used weaving skills to help design the Apollo guidance systems that enabled the 1969 moon landing.

Hosted at the showroom in Milan, ‘Beirut–Milan · A Curated Rug Journey’ was a special exhibition curated by Maher Jawad of .1927 with the aim to not simply present carpets, but to present them as a journey through culture, craftsmanship, interiors, and contemporary living.

The exhibition unfolded across five chapters—Beirut, Herat, Morocco, New York, and Milan—each representing a different relationship with carpets and design. The journey travelled from the cosmopolitan spirit of Beirut, to the remarkable Taimany weaving project in Herat, Afghanistan, the Berber traditions of Morocco, the textured minimalist rugs of New York, and finally to Milan, where carpets fully enter the contemporary design world.
