There’s been some mysterious motoring mischief going on at the Museum!

Join us this October Half Term and see if you can solve The Grand Prix Mystery, running weekdays 19 - 30 October. Put your detective skills to the test, uncover the clues and help crack the case before it's too late!

Plus running daily from 17 October - 1 November, families can take a 15 minute Concorde supersonic tour*, hop aboard a vintage bus*, tackle family trails or jump in the driving seat in the new Brooklands Simulator Experience*.

*Additional charges apply. See website for details, link in bio.

A bit of practical magic ✨

We had such a fantastic time returning to the Chelsea Physic Garden for the 2026 Chelsea History Festival! 🌿✨

This year, we brought a little bit of 1670s history to the Medicinal Quadrant, exploring the fascinating relationship between an 17th-century Apothecary and a Cunning Woman. It was wonderful to see so many families engaging with our history through plant knowledge, folklore, and the shared (but very different!) practices of these two characters.

👏 A huge thank you to the team at Chelsea Physic Garden for having us back and for providing such a brilliant setting to bring these stories to life. We loved interacting with everyone who stopped by!

🦴 Stepping back in time with a legendary pioneer at the Natural History Museum at Tring! 🏛️✨

Zoom Through History brought to life the incredible story of Dorothea Bate—one of the first female scientists to work at the Natural History Museum and a true pioneer of archaeozoology!

From stepping into the museum at just 19 years old to discovering miniature dwarf elephants, giant dormice, and Ice Age fossils in Mediterranean caves, Dorothea proved that passion, courage, and curiosity can change science forever. She later served as Officer in Charge right here at NHM Tring!

Families and curious young adventurers joined us for an interactive workshop packed with discovery!

🌊This morning we took a deep dive into the Jurassic Oceans Monsters of the Deep exhibition at Natural History Museum, London

🥳We were back for another Members Family Morning event!

🗺️Our resident explorers Joe & Evelyn took
groups of young explorers on an interactive tour and traveled back in time to 200 million years ago.

🔨 Now you can’t talk about Marine Reptiles without honouring the Queen of fossil hunting; Mary Anning! Luckily our storyteller was on hand to read NHMs own book all about Mary!

See you next week NHM!

💪Another year back at the wonderful London Museum

🪧 “Sing a song of sixpence Dockers on a strike!”

🚢We had a wonderful time being back at The London Museum this July!

💪 Audiences met with Bert and Eliza our East End husband and wife duo. Museum goers listened to their stories of life on the London Victorian docks and heard how Eliza’s involvement in the Match Girl strike of 1888 inspired Bert to back the Dockers Strike of 1889.
