Hi everyone, it’s Rosetta! :))) This is my very first tattoo piece here at Slon Salon

When I create a design, I love weaving stories into the characters. It probably stems from my background in illustration. Since Mew and Mimikyu are sitting side-by-side, it gives off the vibe of “I’ve got your back,” which inspired the caption.

I want to say a huge thank you to my lovely client for giving me her full trust to create this piece. As I’m still settling into Amsterdam, this truly means the world to me. :))) I also want to give a massive shout-out to Katya ( Katya Slonenko • Amsterdam ); she was by my side the whole time, making sure I felt supported and at home.

I’m so happy right now—this is a wonderful start, and everything is slowly falling into place. :)))

This is Mirabel Madrigal from Encanto! Huge thanks to my client for the trust. This is a small gap-filler piece on her lower wrist. To keep everything in harmony, we carefully chose colors that complement all the surrounding tattoos.

The artwork just above this piece is by 3͙3͙ 🐻 |ᴷᴬᵂᴬᴵᴵ ✶ᴬᴺᴵᴹᴱ ✶ᵀᴬᵀᵀᴼᴼ| —it’s always so cool to “meet” other artists through a client’s collection!

✿ ⚡️ Pokémon Half-Sleeve Tattoo Project ✨ ✿
This is a Pokémon half-sleeve I worked on a while ago. My client initially came to the studio for just one Pokémon tattoo. During our consultation, I realized how much he truly loves Pokémon—he even had a bucket list of designs he wanted to get in the future!

And the I was like, “I think it would look much cooler to design these all together. That way, we can create a cohesive storyboard with proper placement.” So… this is how it all came together!

We completed this blackwork piece in just two sessions. Such a fun and creative project!

This is a half-sleeve project I worked on a while ago back when I was still in London. To be honest, neither of us expected that we would actually complete the full half-sleeve in the end!

I first met my client about a year or two ago when I did a piece for him—a compass design merged with a Japanese quote. A year later, we ended up embarking on this bigger project together.

We’ve both since moved out of the UK, but we finished everything in London just months ago. I think this is one of the reasons I love my job: I get to meet so many people with different stories through my work. :))))

My client put so much thought into the design, and I truly appreciate all his effort. Thank you for traveling so far for this piece—I wish you nothing but the best!

Looking forward to our paths crossing again somewhere on this earth! 🌍 Cheers, mate!

✿ ✿ 🍥Naruto and Luna Tattoo Cover-up Project 🌙 ✿ ✿
This is such a fun and interesting project! It shows that you don’t necessarily have to cover an old tattoo entirely in black or go through painful laser removal.

I started this project a while ago. My lovely client came for a consultation last summer to see if I could fix her old tattoo. After a one-hour chat, we decided to renew it by adding two new flowers—a blue chrysanthemum and a red rose—while refreshing all the original outlines. There are always some limitations with cover-ups, which is why we chose to work with specific blue and reddish tones to blend with the previous ink.

We completed everything in two sessions. We spent quite a bit of time during the first session finding the perfect placement for the stencil, and the second session was mainly focused on coloring.

We’re both so satisfied with the result! It covers almost everything, and I was also able to fix the overall shape so that it fits the flow of her leg much better.

Thank you so much for your trust. It’s been a long journey, and I truly appreciate your patience. It really means a lot to me! 💙💙 I truly believe we’ll meet again in the future. I hope you enjoy your summer with your new tattoo! All the best!

✨ Saved. I am filled with determination. ❤️🧡💛💚💙🩵💜
For those who have played Undertale, you must be familiar with this quote”Saved. You are filled with determination.”. My journey right now feels just like that—completing a chapter in one country, saving the game, and opening a new save slot in another .To be honest, it’s natural to feel nervous. But being able to live well, take care of myself, and tick off my daily goals is already a beautiful victory.

Huge thanks to .tattoo for the warmest welcome yesterday, and Katya for showing me around! I’m already deeply in love with the absolute chill vibe here (and the adorable neighbor kitty 🐱)!I hope when I look back at this very first Amsterdam Reel three months from now, I’ll have a whole new perspective.
